[Garrus doesn't babysit her while she works-- he knows that if anyone ever did that to him while he was in the battery, it'd drive him nuts. So he tinkers with a couple of other things in the room instead, keeping an eye out for any sign of her finishing.]

[When he does realize it, he taps her shoulder and jerks his head towards the door]

[Damn. He caught her just in time. The fatigue is finally starting to catch up with her, though. Actually following Garrus's advice sounded like a good idea, but she still doesn't want to.]

[Because that would bean Garrus was right, and she can't have that. Petty, yes, but petty is about as good as one can be after several days with minimal sleep.]

...Yeah.

[She closes the panel and stands up, pausing for a bit to try to find some delaying tactic.]

Yes, go to the medi-gel dispenser and see if it works. I want to make sure I entered the pressure correctly.

[This might be where the problems start. In her tiredness, she may have entered something like 300 psi instead of, say, 30.]

[And poor, unwitting Garrus saunters on over to the dispenser, where he expects a vial of the stuff to pop out into his hand, all safe and warm]

[Tali heard the impact before she saw what happened, but it was still far funnier than it had any right to be. Again, blame the lack of sleep.]

[So instead of closing the panels, she's doubled over as well, only laughing instead of being in pain.]
